Proof is in the Pudding
Hey everyone just wanted to share our souvenirs from CHA. These are our badges to get into CHA and the really handy necklace pouches Hallie Jo gave us. We both felt so important as all the vendors wanted to scan our badge. LOL It was an awesome time and I have so much more to share check back often!!!
HOME FROM CHA
Hi Everyone! A little later this morning blogging. We got in at midnight and shew! we were tired. We did some shopping along the way home. A really nice thrift shop in Ft Wayne, the Dove's nest and then a really nice stamp store called Stamping Day and Night and owner Sara. She shared with me the upcoming Heritage Stamp Convention they have there in Oct, you might want to mark your calendar. Now, home to get busy putting all those ideas to work.
Here is a MIT I made at the Ranger booth. This is using the new Tim Holtz new Rosette die by Sizzix, it is already perforated for folding and everything!! I'll do a video next week showing you how and sharing the instructions. Debbie Tlach designed and taught us how to do this. I LOVE the new die makes it so much easier to make this rosette flower! So, much more to share but I need to download the pics and then there's unpacking and settling back into the everyday life. Have a great weekend. Check back soon and be sure to sign up as a follower so you don't miss anything. I have made contacts with several vendors and they are going to send me goodies to give away to my followers don't miss the goodies!!!

Smoosh 1 Tim Holtz
If you had a chance to watch the video "Smoosh" for www.Cropstop.com, this is the sample card I did for that video. During the video I made another card and liked those colors even better but thought I'd show you how you can use the same colors of ink in this technique and come up with a totally different look.
We're getting ready to head home from CHA in Chicago. Oh my what a wonderful time we have had. There was so much to see and I even had the chance to do some make and takes. I've met some awesome people from several different companies and can't wait to share some of their products and what you can do with them. I also met Dane and Peggy from www.Cri-kits.com and they gave me the new embosser and pad, VIDEO IS COMING!!! can't wait to try it out with the new colors of Ten Second Studio metals that Hallie Jo just got in at Cropstop. I'm so torn between the new Cricut Imagine and the Eclipse from Sizzix. I'll do a post on that all by itself. I'm such a Cricut fan!!! Then there's all the new products being introduced by Ranger, from Claudine Hellmuth and Tim Holtz . Cropstop ordered tons!!!!! I'll post a picture of the pin I made using Tim's new die cut and metal clock face it's too cool! I think I might even do a video showing how I did it, the artist who designed it gave me the instructions and said I could share. Forgotten her name but it's on the instuctions, which I'll post for you. I talked with Post-it about their products for us to use with Cricut, Oh! wait till' you see that and then one of my most exciting is CLAY & Cricut. Oh my gosh!!! the ideas and projects are endless. I've got so much more to share I'll save some for tomorrow when I'm home and can add pictures. This is a bit funny, we took the Flip camera to video CHA and well, got so caught up in all of it all we only got videoed the doorway opening to the convention LOL Have a great day and be sure to check back tomorrow!

Sending You Happy Everything
This is the card I made for Cropstop. I got this idea from Momo. She has some really cute ideas to share. I loved the way she used the border punch to make the "ruffle". Still having a good time at CHA. OH! MY some really cool stuff coming up.
Just wanted to add that I have personally met Hallie Jo from www.cropstop.com and she is absolutely the greatest. I'm so glad we are traveling this journey of crafting together. I also spoke with Claudine Hellmuth at the Ranger booth and she was great. She has so graciously given me permission to teach her class HERE at Hobby Lobby Eastgate using the sticky back canvas and her studio paints! It will be in September called the Mixed Media Mania class. I already have 4 people signed up so watch for it. I promise you will be amazed at what you can do with paint and canvas!
I also have a really awesome project to show you that I did using the new IMAGINE from Provo Craft. They are going to launch it on HSN September 14th... Steve tried to hide my credit card SHHH! I found it. LOL
Off to another day at CHA, today we are going to spend time talking with different vendors to see if they would sponsor my blog so I can give stuff away like other blogs out there. Say a prayer!!! I'll try to blog a bit tonight when we get back to the hotel. Oh! yeah Hallie Jo told me she just sent me a "goodie" package with new products in it. MORE VIDEOS to come!!!
Have a great day!

Create a Critter Giraffe
Every year I make a special box of Christmas and all occasion cards to sell at work. I try to use up lots of my stash, that way I can use the extra $ to buy more "stash" LOL I pulled out the box and today's post is the first to go in. I used the Create a Critter cart for the giraffe, paper is from a SEI pad of paper and the stamp is just one I had in a "word stamp" container. I promise I'll pull out another cartridge and make other cards next week!! I just about used up the Create a Critter. I have 5 new ones I haven't used yet. OOPS!
We leave Tuesday night for CHA in Chicago, so I'm going to try to fix the blog to post while I'm there, hope it works. If not make sure to check back Friday I hope to have lots of pics to share from CHA and give you peeks of what to expect on the store shelves soon.

NEW CLASS JUST ADDED!
Just wanted to let you all know that I just scheduled a GYPSY 2 class at Hobby Lobby East Gate. The date will be August 28th, 2-5 and the cost is $25. We are going to create a page using many of the functions we learned at Gypsy 1 and put together our page. Oh, and I have a little surprise project we are going to make, it's too stinkin' cute! There is only room for 10 and you can only sign up if you took Gypsy 2. Call today I have a feeling this is going to fill up really fast! Thanks everyone and especially Hobby Lobby for allowing me to do classes there!!!!! Have a good one!
New Function
Hi Everyone!
I've had several folks email and ask "where's this or that?" They've seen something on my blog but then couldn't remember what date it was posted. Blogger has added a new feature for us. It's "SEARCH this blog" I just added this feature! All you do is go to the side bar, type in a keyword and at the top of the blog a list of all the postings with that keyword will be listed. What a cool feature!! Give it a try! Let me know what you think. Have a great day!

Letter Stickers
How many of you, like myself, have a ton of left over letter stickers? I have a metal egg basket FULL! So, this past few weeks I've been going through then and using many on my scrapbook pages instead of cutting letters out on my Cricut. Then I thought why not use them on my cards and use them up! Here's the first attempt. I put the stickers on, cuttlebugged and inked it up. Then of course, I had to cut out something on the Cricut. LOL This little gator is from the most popular of all so far... Create a Critter cartridge.
Why not pull out some of those sticker letters and see what you can come up with. Have a great day!
Oh yeah! don't forget to check www.cropstop.com for my new you-tube video. The card turned out so cool I can hardly stand it. I'll post it Saturday.

Emboss and Cricut
Hello everyone! Hope you are having a good day! Here is a really cute birthday card using the Cuttlebug happy birthday embossing folder and the bird is from Straight from the Nest. I used scraps and look how cute. The stamped verse is one of Robyn's The Pink Stampers stamps. I ordered it from Custom Crops and I'm really liking the way she has ones to match the Create a Critter cartridge. She says she has another set coming out soon.
I have one "new" opening for the August class Cricut University and I've got enough interest to have a Gypsy 2 class so I'll be designing that class this week and posting a date later this week. Thanks to all of you for being for faithful to attend my classes. I've met a lot of new friends!!

Super Quick Card!
I needed a really quick card for a friend who did me a "BIG" favor. So I pulled some stash together and a SU stamp and this is what I came up with. Sometimes all you need is simple to get the message to someone how grateful you are.
I also would like to take a second and Thank everyone for the congrats on our new granddaughter Isabella Grace. I was in the middle of doing the video for Cropstop when the phone rang and we would put on standby for having our grandsons while mom and dad went to have Isabella. I had fun having a
"baby info-merical" in the video. She, mom and family are all doing great we are truly blessed Have a great day!

Studio Picture
Some girls have asked to see pictures of my studio. I've shared the other studio (yes, I have
2 1/2 rooms). I'm blessed and of course I need more room LOL.... This is the Mixed Media side. It has change a bit since this picture but not much. Off to the right of the picture is where I do my metal work, then the pasta maker is for the clay, I have my paints, oven, crock pot and blender all handy for other projects. The silver wine bottle racks on the ceiling are from Ikea, a favorite shopping place of mine, and beer glasses in place of the wine bottles hold my marker and some paint brushes. I have shelves wherever I can find a place to hang them just for projects I've created and collectibles that inspire me. This is truly a heaven on earth for me. Hope you enjoyed seeing it.
I'll be sharing a lot of scrapbook pages over the next month along with cards. We are also going to have a big announcement August 1 so stay tuned! Have a great day

Embossed Flower
I don't know how many times I've said I didn't like this Cuttlebug embossing folder but shame on me! I saw a card this card idea the other day and just had to give it a try. You emboss the flower 3 times. The bloom using printed paper, the center a contrast and the green for the leaves. Cut it all out. Then I used a Nestie circle die to cut out the center, embossed the blue center with the bubbles folder. I used foam tape to pop the flower, used a eyelet by Dritz (from the sewing department along with my crop-s-dile), and finally used my new Martha Stewart fringe scissors for the grass. These scissors are so much fun! This was really a fun card to put together! Thanks to the artist for showing me another cool way to use my "use to be" least favorite Cuttlebug embossing folder.

quilled flower with edge embossed
I decided to pull out some of my border embossing folders and see if I could start using them more often. I searched the Internet for a while a stumbled across a card that used Prima flowers and ribbon on the edge. A light bulb went off and I came up with this. Of course, the ribbon and Prima flower card was awesome. I believe it was over at Twopeasinabucket, but I'm not sure. I flipped through so many when I finally stopped and realized I could use the quilled flowers and the border folder that I couldn't find the site I saw the card, I apologize for not mentioning the artist whose sketch I cased. Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea whomever you are!
I think this turned out pretty good and it was quick and I love a quick card. Oh yeah! I used a scrap of a paint chip to stamp my sentiment on using Stazon ink and Tim Holtz stapler for a little accent.
Have a great Saturday!!

Happy Birthday
Well, I had so much news to tell you last night. Oh my, PC is really working overtime to get out new cartridges!
If you didn't get to see the posts about all the new cartridges check yesterdays postings. I did several late last night.
Today I wanted to share this "stash" birthday card. I'm actually going to use this design at a class next week. I have tons of those little clips and this was a quick and cute way to use it. The stamp is another Verses Rubber Stamp, the background is embossed using Cuttlebug and the paper, well, it's from the "stash".
Have a great day!

Retiring Cricut Cartridges
Provo Craft announced a lot yesterday at Hello Thursday. Not only 8 new cartridges, a new Cricut Cake, new partner Martha Stewart and two retiring cartridges; Baseball and Basketball. I tell you my head was hurting trying to take it all in. I think I'll go make a scrapbook page LOL
They also announced there will be an update to our Gypsy next week. Well, off to the studio. Have a great day.
Martha is at it again...
Yeap! that's right Martha is at it again alright. I just read where she has joined forces with Provo Craft and has her name on a new Cricut Cake and 3 new cartridges. They are all going to be offered July 19th on HSN. The cartridges will work on any of the machines. According to all the information I've been able to find, the new machine is only different in color. OH MY! can you believe all this announced in one day? It's Cricut Overload day.....
Opps! forgot one...
NEW CARTRIDGES ARE COMING
Dance Cuttlebug
Hi everyone. Not much time to play in studio yesterday we spent all day with the grandchildren, while mommy and daddy welcomed our newest grandbaby, Izzy.
So, I decided to show you an upclose pic of the card I did for www.cropstop.com and their video. I used coordinations paper, 12 embossing plate and folder, Verses Rubber Stamps and Swiss Dots embossing. I'm so happy Provo Craft came out with the 12 in folders and the big 13 inch embossing plates WOW so much easier. Today I need to get all the upcoming classes together. They are all filling up really fast so lots to get ready ! Yippee!! I just love to teach. Well, have a great day

Izzy's Here!
Good Morning! I'm sooooo excited our new granddaughter arrived this morning.. Isabella was born at 6am. I don't have all the details as her weight and stuff. We are on our way to the hospital in a few hours. But I know she is beautiful! Here is the card her big brother Ethan and I made this morning.
I used the New Arrival cartridge and paper is from DCWV Baby Girl paper pack. Oh yeah I used the Peachy stamps for the face.
Have a blessed day we sure are starting off with a big BLESSING!

Wild Card
Good Morning everyone. Wanted to share a really different style card for me. I pulled out the WILD CARD cartridge and tried coming up with a different style. Well, it worked. the leaves on this card unfold to the left and the card then opens up. The verse stamped on the front ( which is a bit crooked. BUMMER!) is from Verses Rubber Stamps. One of my all time favorite Scriptures!
The Wild Card cartridge is NOT one of my favorites. I really thought I was going to love it because I make so many cards but .... not. I decided I really needed to play with it and try to figure out different ways to put it to good use, I hate to spend $ on something and not get my monies worth. If you have any good ideas PLEASE share!! I would love to be able to say I like this cartridge. Have a great day!

TIny Fingers
Well, here's the card I wanted to post this morning and forgot to upload it. This is yet another Verses Rubber Stamp and I thought how appropriate a baby card.. we are expecting our 7th grandchild this month. Hopefully, in the next few days. I used my good ole' stand by Swiss Dots embossing folder to add a little texture. Hope you all had a great day!
It's a Monday
Hello everyone! I forgot to upload my picture today... So, check back tonight I promise it will be there!

Punch Flower
Hi everyone! I had some free time (LOL) the other day and went surfing... not in the water.. and re-visited one of my "go-to" websites www/splitcoaststampers.com . WOW! there are really a lot of talented folks out there who love to share their creations. Thanks to all of you!
I stumbled across this card idea and had to make myself one. I really am sorry I can't give the artist credit, being at work I wasn't able to save it or write down who she was but THANKS!!!
I didn't have her instructions so I winged it. I used an oval punch and a circle punch for the leaves. I tried first punching out the oval and then the circle but it was too hard to hold that little oval correctly to get the circle where I wanted it. So, I did the circle first then positioned the oval around that. Made 6 of those, cuttled the background with my most used embossing folder, Swiss Dots, then laid out the petals glued them down, punched a black smaller circle, added a button and stamped FRIEND.
I found a box of "word" stamps in a container that at one time I thought it would be a great idea to put all "word" stamps together and didn't keep the manufacturer's names or title of the set with the stamp. So, now I have a large number of clear stamps and I don't know who made them and I can't tell you. "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!"
Anyway I thought it was a really cute idea and loved another way to use my punches. You could of course, use Nesties.
If you have any cute ideas you would like to share using your punches I would love to see them and post them for all my visitors. Just send them to www.peggy@bubbesbiz.com with punch in the title.Who knows maybe if I get a good number we'll have a contest!
Have a blessed Sunday!

Create a Critter Frog
Here is the frog card I mentioned in the www.cropstop.com video. The eyes are glued on top of the green caps that hold the Cuttlebug Plus packaging together. Oh and I used one atop the tag. I embossed this little guy with the bubbles folder. Have a great Saturday!!

Straight from the Nest Butterfly and Crafts2you
This is a easy card I did in one of the Cricut 101 classes last year. We used all scraps from our scrapbook page. I used the Crafts2You embossing folders on the butterfly and the circle. The butterfly is cut from the Straight From the Nest Cricut cartridge, which is an exclusive on HSN. Not sure if they have any available. There is going to be a new one on HSN only sometime this month. Keep your eyes open! Have a great Friday.

Dino Mite
I just love this dino....It's from the Create a Critter cartridge another one of my favorites LOL... I wanted to let you all know in case you didn't already know that Provo Craft did do an update for the Gypsy, however there are still a few of the Cricut Lites that didn't make this update. But they are trying to get it all together for the next update.

Verses Rubber Stamp and Cuttlebug Plus
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a card I did using another of the Cuttlebug Plus Embossing folders. The scan really doesn't do the card justice, but the top part of it is the die/folder. The flower is from Prima and the verse is another Verses Rubber Stamp. I think I'm really going to like these new Cuttlebug Plus embossing dies.
Have a great day!

Verses Rubber Stamp
This is an awesome saying, don't you agree? I stamped the printed paper (My Mind's Eye Complete Boy Pack) with brown ink then stamped the verse, another Verses Rubber Stamp (QQO846F) with Versa Mark ink and embossed with Zing black embossing powder. The butterflies were punched with Martha Stewart butterfly punch and a scrap paper from another project. The bling is from Hobby Lobby. Why not try stamping on printed paper and then embossing your saying over top and see what you can come up with. If you'd like, you can email it to me at peggy@bubbesbiz.com and I'll post it on here to share. Have a great day!

Cuttlebug Plus and the Quilling Flower
Oh WOW!!! I just received this awesome Cuttlebug Plus Embossing /die from HJ at www.cropstop.com. I didn't think I was going to like these but oh! MY! Wait until you see the video on how to do this it ROCKS! The flower in the center was made using the new Cuttlebug quilling set. There is already a video at Cropstop showing how easy they have made quilling using these dies. Cropstop has them so make sure to stop by and get some before they are all gone! You may as well go ahead and get yourself a couple of the PLUS dies too they're going to go fast! Have a great Monday!!
$1 Stamp from Michaels
I don't know why this stamp grabbed my eye but it did and for $1 you can't go wrong. I pulled the card from the stash box and threw this together. The "so nice" stamp is an SU stamp, Cuttlebug Spots and Dots embossing folder and the ribbon I got from www.Cropstop.com. Just quick and easy! Have a great day!

Verses Rubber Stamp
Hello everyone! I know you are all out celebrating the 4th today, actually we are too I posted this late last night so I wouldn't miss a day of posting.
I've been one the Design Team for Verses Rubber Stamps for over two yeas and have been asked to design some special cards just for my blog. They are about to launch new stamps over and I get the privilege of sharing some of the new ones and some older ones that maybe you've missed.
This is a great anniversary verse. I love that it says more than just "Happy Anniversary". It's a compliment and encouragement for the happy couple. Not only did you make them a special card, you added an beautiful saying to go along with it. I hope you'll enjoy the spotlights on Verses Rubber Stamps and if you would like to order them you can go to their website at www.versesrubberstamps.com or call 513-793-4558. This stamp is #MA0303F.
Have a great holiday weekend.

Cuttlebug Quilling Flowers and Cricut

Have a great Friday. Oh just a FYI there was no Hello Thursday Update for our Gypsy yesterday. I called PC and they said they are working on it and hope to have it out next week..... waiting waiting waiting.........

You know I wanted to share this thought today.. cards don't have to be complicated to be cute and meaningful! Hope you have a great day!
