Scrapbook

Good Morning... yes I'm still scrappin' This is our granddaughter, Gabby. She was chosen to display her artwork at a school function last year and unfortunately, I'm just getting this page scrapped. This is a piece of paper that I purchased pre-cut and punched however, I have now figured out a way to do this same design using the Cricut Expression. I just love all my tools. Well, I finished up on all the pics I have developed, now I just need to develop the other 100 or so. ha ha.. Tonight is card night, so I'll have a new one for you to peek at tomorrow. I've got to get busy making my Christmas cards, I usually only mail out about a dozen, all our family and friends are in town, so not too many to mail.

Kids Klub Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone, I haven't shared a scrapbook page lately, so I decided I would change it up a bit today. This is a layout that we're doing in the KIDS KLUB, Hobby Lobby Eastgate, next month. My goal is to teach a lot of techniques while creating a quick layout. They get a Martha Stewart scrapbook to put their 12 pages in. They'll use the Cuttlebug, Nesties, punches, inks and the Xyron just to mention a few things. Memory Monday

Well, today is another Memory day so I wanted to share another page with you. Also, if you all have a minute and would say a prayer for my brother and sister-in-law, they were in a serious car accident yesterday, so we all spent the day in the emergency room. They both will be fine, but their recovery time is going to be rough. Thanks in advance for your prayers!

This is my granddaughter, Samantha. I love the different shapes of 12x12 paper they have come out with. The cool thing for me is that having the Cricut Expression I can make some pretty cool shaped papers myself! Provo Craft is coming out with 4 new cartridges for us, announcing them at CHA. Cutterscreek is taking pre-orders as well as Memory Miser. I have had great service from both. You can check out their websites to see what they look like. I am leaning towards the Winter Woodland. I stamped the flourishes down the side using a set by Rhonna and Autumn Leaves and the flowers are Making Memories.

Memory Monday

Good Monday Morning!!

I am in the studio all day playing.. oops! I mean working.. just in case Steve is listening. LOL

Today I wanted to share another page I did for the grandkids. Jack Henry is the baby of the group and it seems I don't have as many pages of him as I did the other kids at the age he is now. He will be 2yrs in August and only has 2 completed books. The other ones seem to have had 3 or 4. I don't know if it's that I had more time then or I'm getting slower... So here is one of him when he was first born. You see at our house we have what we loving call the "WALL OF FAME". It's a wall where I have hung 12x12 scrapbook frames (total of 10) and if your birthday is in, say "August", all the frames are filled with past and present pages of you so we can see how much you've changed. I really did this for me to enjoy the pages before putting them in books, but one of the grandkids said we should spotlight the birthday month. Great Idea! It is a bit to keep up with but it has become fun for the kids to see how much each have grown and remember  things they had done in the past year. After all that is why we scrapbook isn't it? I might try to get a good picture of the wall and share it with you next Memory Monday. Have a great week and just to keep you guessing.. I have been working on getting all those new stamps I bought put to good use on a card, so this week should be a good one to check in on. I don't have any classes for a few weeks.. I needed to do some freelance work and when I take a break I'll throw in a card or two. Well, off to play....

Memory Monday

Okay, we are starting another summer week! I am spending the day in the studio working on the next freelance job. Had a great Father's Day all the grandchildren were here and of course our sons and daughter-in-laws.  So now we are planning the 4th of July picnic. I wanted to show you another scrapbook page for today, I still have to scan one of Gabby and Jack Henry, they were a bit upset that they weren't on the blog yet. So, that is on my list today. Here is a really fun layout I did of Ethan. One of our fun things to do in the fall is to go to a pumpkin farm and get our pumpkins, get the scarecrow to measure how big we've gotten and of course have fun and be silly. Ethan did a great job here. I have fun with Ethan's initials "ETC".Have a great week and remember to make some memories today!

Memory Monday

Well, another week has begun. It looks like it is going to be a busy one. I have to complete a free-lance job and start a new one. Praise God for the work! Here's a layout I did sometime ago of my oldest granddaughter, Sophia. This photo was taken by her daddy on one of their summer vacations. She looked like one of those models posing on the beach and I just had to have a scrapbook page of it. Hope you enjoy it!

Ethan turning 3 yrs old and wanting a Pirate birthday party at Pops and Bubbe's house. So Pop's tranformed the tree house into a pirate's ship, sail and all. Did you notice I used embellishments to spell his name? Hope you enjoy this pic as much as we did the day.
