Cute Card THURSDAY CHALLENGE #79

This is for the challenge called "Buzz off", at  http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/. I am not 100% happy, something is missing. I am going to set it aside and come back to it. Any suggestions????? Stamps are all from Unity Stamps, colored with copics and colorbox chalk inks.  Well, I did add a couple embellishments after thinking about it a bit, it is a little better. It's fun to try to make art out of a blooper... hee hee..
Have a great Friday!

CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE #71

I was too excited to do this challenge. I just got this new card die cut for my Accucut and just knew I had to use it right away. I've seen several really cool cards using either this card shape or some other brand of die cut with a similar shape so I had to have it! Here is what I came up with... The challenge over at www.cutecardthursday.blogspot this week is called "Let's get fruity". I have the Cricut Hello Kitty cartridge and there is a really cute strawberry and these cherries. I tried the strawberry and it just wasn't right so the cherries won. I used kraft paper from Hobby Lobby, and the background stamp, used for the stamp of  month card over at CHF, for the texture look on the card front.  The corrugated piece is recycled from a package I got this week, ribbon is from Michael's, verse stamp is from Magnolia's and finally I used a Galaxy white pen to make the dots on the top. I am thinking I may just have to put this in one of my future classes for the girls to make they might just like this one. Hope you enjoy it and wish me luck maybe I will win the challenge.

CUTE CARD THURSDAY CHALLENGE #67

I had a chance to sneak up here to the studio, Steve decided to mow grass.. don't you just love it when the grass needs mowed and you aren't the one who has to cut it. LOL
I am at it again. I am just loving all these challenges!!!! They are getting those creative juices going. Here is my card for the "Stitch in time" challenge over at http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/. My friend Cj, over at Craftjunkies.blogspot, gave me bags of fabric for my granddaughters to play with, well while putting it in the sewing cabinet these little squares dropped out. I took it as a sign that I was suppose to use them. LOL They even had adhesive on the back. So, I ironed them on a piece of cardstock then zig-zagged them and well you see the results. It turned out stinkin' cute.. at least I think so hee hee.. have a great holiday weekend.
That's it for right now at Createwithbubbe.blogspot.com, I might be back later tonight I have another project I am working on I want to share. bye

Scrap days

I am so excited about this little card. I pulled out the big drawer of scraps, Cricut Paper Pups cartridge and Tah Dah! my scrap card for the day. I decided that I would just grab a cartridge and make it work and this was it. This was the first time I used it. How many times do we buy something because it is "too stinkin' cute" and we never use it?
I love my Cricut Expression, the sky is the limit as to what you can do with it.
Just a reminder: I am teaching a class on how to use all those function keys on the Cricut Expression check my class schedule for details.
Oh! I forgot to mention I also used the scorpal and scor-bug to accent the card, a Quickutz die for the grass, Stamps by Judith butterfly and Memory box for the "just a note". You have probably figured it out by now that I love all my tools! Have a great Thursday!
