Dutchdare-card challenge/ Sketch Challenge

Well, last one for tonight! I found this new challenge spot and just had to give it a try. They gave us a sketch to go by and since I am on a mission to get 200 Christmas cards this gave me a good opportunity to use another group of stamps and my new chalks'

I used Pebbles Inc. chalks, Quickutz embossing folder, nestabilities die cut, CB embossing folder, the snowman is Rubber Soul, trees are Impression Obsession, snowflake is Making Memories and the paper was from my scrap-stash and I can't remember who makes it.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #23 http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/

I love the challenge over at http://stamptacularsundaychallenge.blogspot.com/ it's called "Off the wall, slap your knee funny". Now this may not be funny to everyone, but this is how I see Steve and I in the future. Thank God I have my knees together. hee hee (that is a joke between me and Momma Rose). I used a Quickuts embossing folder for the background and colored with Copics, still needing some more practice, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. It looked really good until I scanned it and then I noticed I missed a few spots in coloring. Does that mean I need stronger glasses hee hee...
The colors really do look better in real life! Hope this made you smile!

Get Sketchy Challenge GS#2

I haven't posted to this blog before but I liked the challenge.You might want to hop over and check them out. It's www.getsketchyblogspot.com. This challenge has a sketch to follow and you had to use a punch. I used the MS border punch and cuttlebugged the background with one of the Quickutz embossing folders. The flowers were left overs from a Making Memories pack of embellishments. Stamp is Hero Arts. Hope you have a great weekend.
