Mail Art Project!

Millennia Mail Art Project

These layered images have inspired mail art project. The idea is that each artist will contribute a layer of art to a card. As different artists add to the cards, the layers will build up. Somewhat like in the images shown above. After they have completed their layer, artists are asked to send the card on to another artist. The end result will be a series of collaborative mail art pieces. Each one will be created by at least five different artists.
Instructions
1) If you have received one of these cards, please fill in the next available layer with some of your work.
2) Put your name on the back of the card and the number for the layer you have completed.
3) Send, mail or give the card to another artist to complete the next layer.
4) If you have completed the last layer, please mail the card back to:

I saw this on Roben Smith's site and thought what a fun thing to try with some of my bloggin' friends. If you would like to be a part send me an email and your address and let's do it. I'll do mine tonight and post it and see what happens.
The class last night at Michael's was GREAT! what a fun group of ladies and they were all pleased with their cards and all the tips and tricks I shared. My next class there will be the "Sizzix Test Drive" It's only $10 and we are going to make 10 different tags using about 15-20 different materials. This is going to be a fun one with lots of inspiration to use new stuff on your cards and scrapbook pages.
I've also scheduled the Project ME class. It's going to be May 14 time: 6-8 and cost is $25. I'm really excited to do this class using all the new Snap goodies.
Have a great day!
Hope you are all having a great day!
