Guess how I got this background..

The background for this one is the print off the one I shared yesterday. After you spray all your Dylusions on your page, lay another one on top and soak up all the excess. I learned this technique from Dyan Reverly. Then I just went to town adding more texture using stamps by Dyan and Unity, gesso, bubble wrap inked up, roller graph word stamp, piece of texture wallpaper inked up, PVC pipe and gesso for circles and a little bit of Martha Stewart's rub-ons from 3 years ago.
The picture in the center is the front of my bulletin from church. I plan to get a color copy at Staples and put it in my art journal. This is a 12x12 page so I'll get them to reduce it to fit.
Have the day you have.

  1. Love this... The Dylusions inks are amazing, aren't they. I love how you've built up the layers of texture with this background, and it's a great image, too. Well done!
