Making a Difference-One Scarf at a Time The employees at Stamp Your Art Out! need your support in celebrating Make a Difference Day. Stamp Your Art Out!, a retail rubber stamp store in Blue Ash, is launching a program affiliated with Handmade Especially for You (which has a 501K charitable status) that makes scarves for women who are victims of abuse, as well as homeless women living in shelters. We have contacted local shelters that are interested in participating in this project. We have set a goal of 200 newly knitted or crocheted scarves to be delivered in December for Christmas. Scarves should be delivered to our store no later than November 15. For those who do not knit or crochet, we will gladly accept donations of yarn or funds to offset expenses. Some free yarn will be available to those who need it. We are appealing to your generous and creative spirit! The scarves should be pretty, as well as functional for a cold winter day. No two scarves should be exactly alike, as the scarves are intended to warm the heart as well as the body. We feel that this is an appropriate community service we can all participate in since October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
