Quickutz Embossing Folder and Flower Soft

Well, "hump-day" already. We worked on the next video last night, so it should be posted tomorrow. I also have something very exciting I'm working on for February 1. I'm not going to tell just yet but I promise it is something really exciting!
This card was my first attempt at using Flower Soft. I didn't have any of the pre-designed cards that you can get, so I took my Distress Inks and colored in the background. The embossing was a bit disappointing, not because of the folder but the paper was not a good quality. So, I took the ink pads and highlighted the raised areas a little more. I used the Spring Flowersoft and added in a few areas. The scan doesn't really do it justice, it did turn out okay. The stamp is an old Hero Arts, ribbon from HL. I think I might just like this Flower Soft, I am going to look into using it more often.
