Cricut Christmas bird

This is a quick card I did last night using my new Pagoda Cricut cartridge. The branch is from the Pagoda cartridge and the bird is from Home Decor cartridge. I cut her little legs off so it looked like she was sitting on the branch, used a white marker pen to highlight her feathers and a silver brad for her eye. I then put Stickles on the branches for a little glitz. The ribbon is from a warehouse called Flower Factory and is really cheap and perfect for cards. The verse is a stamp from Impressions Obsessions. I like the way this turned out using the different color combinations, instead of the usual red and green. I am really enjoying the Cricut and Gypsy more and more everyday. I'm having my last two classes of the year this Saturday at Hobby Lobby. Beginning in January 2010, I'm starting the Cricut University classes. I'm really looking forward to sharing all the tip and tricks I have learned and continue to learn for the Cricut and the Gypsy. I'm also considering renting my cartridges to my students for a small fee, but I have to work out the details. I thought this might help them decide which ones they want before making the big investment. A little perk for taking my classes. Have a great day and don't forget to check out Cutterscreek, Kim has some new goodies coming in and the service is great!
