Scrap days

Well, today I finally finished one of the freelance jobs! Yippee! So I took some time and played with one of my ALL time favorite things, distress inks. I really like doing collage pieces, so I pulled out a tag and did one of Tim Holtz's techniques  I learned a while back. I love the Stamperous Anonymous stamps and I mixed in an Inkadinkado stamp of the month I picked up in Indiana, I even used one of the newer Tattered Angel Glimmer Screen, and added a  piece of magic mesh. The background is a page out of an old book that I inked up and sewed to the front of kraft paper.  The big black thing is a giant snap I picked up at a yard sale.
That is the fun part of collage you can mix whatever you like and it turns into a piece of art.
One of the things on my "bucket list" is to go to the Ranger University, where I can learn even more fun tips from Tim Holtz and the Ranger team. Who knows        maybe next year. I promised I was going to give away some blog candy on Friday, and all you have to do is make a comment today and Friday, I will randonly pick a number if it is your comment, YOU WIN! I know you will enjoy what I will send you, but remember you have to comment today and Friday to be registered.  Hurry now make a comment! Good Luck!
later Peggy                     Winner will be announced Friday night at 8p.m.
